VKVC Piggable Wyes are designed by our Pipeline Pigging Design Team. The Wyes are a ‘ ‘Y’ shaped fitting, they are designed to ensure smooth Pigging and Cleaning of Branch lines connected to Major Trunk Pipelines The Pressure drop across ‘Y’ is lower than that of ‘Tees’
Wyes are machined from Monolithic Forgings or fabricated with structural Reinforcements. FEA is carried out for each fitting.
Wye consists of 2 Inlets each configured to the main common axis at 15oC.
The included angle is maximum 30oC for Piggable Wyes.
Wyes can have 2 Inlets and 1 Outlet or vice versa 1 Inlet and 2 Outlets.
VKVC Provides Symmetrical and Asymmetrical Wyes.
The Wyes can be provided with additional Pup Pieces, Flange End Connections or Pipeline Grippers for Sub-Sea Installation. All VKVC Wyes are NACE Compliant.
