vkvc Hot tap fittings

Hot tapping is the process of drilling a hole in an on-stream pipeline in operating conditions without interrupting it’s flow.

Hot tap fittings are either bolted or welded to the main pipeline. VKVC provides hot tap tees for both these applications.

Hot tap fittings (tees) are to be equipped with ANSI 150, 300, 600, 900 or 1500 class weld neck RF or RTJ flanges.

Prior to dispatch the hot tap tees are hydrotested at VKVC.
