Sub-sea Encapsulation structural Clamp

VKVC Sub-Sea Encapsulation Structural Clamp is a specialized device used in offshore oil and gas operations to repair and reinforce damaged sections of sub-sea pipelines. These clamps encapsulate the defective area, restoring structural integrity and preventing leaks without the need for cutting and replacing the damaged pipeline section.

  • Structural Support: Designed to transfer the pipeline’s axial load to the clamp body, ensuring the pipeline’s structural integrity is maintained after repair.
  • Leak Sealing: Equipped with seals that effectively contain pressure and prevent leaks in the repaired section.
  • Installation Assistance: Utilize hydraulic cylinders and hinges to facilitate easy opening and closing during installation, often operable by divers or remotely operated vehicles (ROVs)
  • Material Compatibility: Manufactured from non-corrosive materials like polymer composites or stainless steel to withstand harsh sub-sea environments.
